A digital virtual assets service and e-commerce platform, Hanypay, has announced a two-day virtual training programme aimed at equipping participants with skills in artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and online business development.

The training, scheduled for May 2–3, will be held online via Microsoft Teams from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM GMT daily, according to promotional materials released by the organisers.

The programme will cover key areas including AI and blockchain fundamentals, AKL Lumi wallet setup, Hanymarket product listing, and digital entrepreneurship, with participants expected to gain hands-on knowledge on how to operate within the emerging digital economy.

Organisers say the initiative forms part of efforts to promote financial inclusion and digital business opportunities, particularly among young people and entrepreneurs seeking to leverage online platforms for income generation.

The training is expected to feature live sessions, certified instruction, and expert facilitators, with participants also introduced to the Hanypay ecosystem and its digital utility token, positioned as a tool for cross-border transactions and e-commerce within its platform.

Hanypay is among 11 virtual assets service providers admitted into the regulatory sandbox programme of the Securities and Exchange Commission Ghana, as part of efforts to support the testing and development of emerging financial technologies under regulatory oversight.

The company has in recent times promoted its services as part of a broader push to expand digital trade and financial solutions across Africa, including the rollout of its Hanymarket platform for online buying and selling.

The sandbox initiative by the Securities and Exchange Commission Ghana is designed to provide a controlled environment for fintech innovation, while ensuring appropriate investor protection and market integrity as Ghana develops its virtual asset ecosystem.

Interest in digital finance, blockchain technology, and online entrepreneurship continues to grow across Ghana and Africa, especially among the youth, as the country moves toward a more structured and regulated digital financial landscape.

Prospective participants for the Hanypay training have been encouraged to register online ahead of the scheduled dates.
