Man Nabbed for Attempted Sale of Son

The Akwatia Police Command has arrested a man for attempting to sell his son for One Million Cedis.

Coffie Agyeman, a resident of Kwama g in the Akyem area of the Eastern of Ghana disclosed to his friend about his intention to sell his three-year old son due to financial difficulties he us facing.

Sources say someone hinted the police about Coffie’s plan to sell the boy and the police decided to engage him as potential buyers.

After agreeing on a One MillionCedis, Coffie hurriedly sent his son to to meet with the buyers at the planned location where the police then arrested him.

Further information has it that, Coffie had wanted his son killed and after harvesting the needed body parts for rituals, the body of the boy be given back to him for presentation to the family as the boy haven been murdered by unknown people.

The Akwatia Police Command is however tight-lipped of the issue since investigation is still ongoing to unravel the full facts of the development.

It is currently not clear where the mother of the boy was when her husband embarked on the cruel act.
