I Don’t Want my Sins to Outnumber The Ten Commandments

A leading member of the New Patriotic Party, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, says he has been quiet lately because he does not want to break biblical record.
According to him, his own party members in lead up to the 2024, compiled what they call the ten sins of Kennedy Agyapong, just hecauae he was telling them the bitter truth. “The Bible contains ten commandments from the days of Adam to date. Kennedy Agyapong has also committed ten sins, so i don’t want to commit the eleventh sin because that will mean breaking the ten commandments” he stated.
Making the comment on talk time, s Pan African talkshow with a seasoned journalist, Kwesi Pratt, the vociferous politician who sought the opportunity to justify his apology to President Mahama for saying some unacceptable things about him said, the abysmal performance of the Nana Addo administration; the poor handling of the economy especially the exchange rate caused their defeat. “I had forty million at the bank for a particular business as of 2022, in about two years, the 40 million dollars reduced drastically to 15 million dollars, can you imagine that!”. He mentioned how a lot of businessmen and women like himself had lost out due to the depreciation of the Cedi to the major trading currencies, particularly the dollar.
The immediate past Assin Central legislator said despite the NDC’s numerous campaign message against Dr. Mahmud Bawumia, due to his own comments in the past, he is surprised that the NPP still attributes their lost to his supposed comments.
On happenings prior to the NPP’s presidential primary, the 2024 NPP flag bearer aspirant revealed that he has forgiven all delegates, especially public office holders at the time who were whipped in line for fear of being victimised, believing that they will endorse him this time round. The now coolly composed NPP man touts himself as the grassroot man with the optimism to win their next presidential primary and go ahead to win the 2028 presidential elections.
Asked about the NPP’s chances in the 2028 elections should Asiedu Nketia and Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang lead the NDC, the six-year term former legislator said, “I will beat him because i have something to show. Ooh, my beautiful Naana Professor, she will speak all the beautiful English but I’m a pragmatist so I’ll beat the NDC”. He added that, “We stand the chance of winning the 2028 election but it depends on who we chose as our flagbearer. If they chose me, i will beat the NDC, trust me”.
On his recent unusual calm composure, he stated that “Today you see that I’m not booming? It’s because I’m growing and gaining maturity. Everything which happens is good, the defeat has really humbled me, it was good that i lost for the first time”.
Responding to the present state of the KNUST student who was stopped during their presidential primary campaign, Mr. Agyapong, disclosed that he has taken care of young man and that he is now in a good condition. He went ahead to refer to that incident as a silver lining in that misfortune adding that he was not saying this to disgrace the mother of the stabbed student. “Through the unfortunate incident, the mother of the student came to me and i have set the her up with a business capital so she now have a working capital, but politics must not take us that far”.
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, who was upbeat of sailing through the NPP’s upcoming presidential primary disclosed that he has acquired vast lands in Ada, Adidome, Adaklo and Tumu to do Tomato farming, set up ethanol factory as well as cotton farm and factory respectively. The initiative he said aims to provide jobs for the teeming youthful population.
According to him, though he can do a lot of things in that regard without necessarily becoming a president, investors see weight in the words of the president than businessmen when it comes yo such. “I have spoken to a lot of investors but if i were president, they would have seen more weight in my words, that’s why i want to be president” he added.
