“I swear, Ashawo short for Tema den Ashsiman, i no see this before. I never know say plenty people dey go Ashawo like that”.
Those were the words of some patrons of commercial sex workers in Tema and Ashaiman who were thrown into a great shock for unsuccessfully accessing their usual clients on Xmass day.
Some customers who spoke to VoiceAfricaonline said they had called at their usual joints at which times their long-standing clients had all already being booked to their uttermost surprise.
A patron who spoke to this portal on a state of anonymity said “I drove to Community Seven and Eight but fiasco. I then went to Signature, 4:30, Atadeka and Tsinaiagbe but still could not get a single lady idly waiting for customers. My reliable clients were all occupied, a couple of ladies i saw at Signature too had already being booked and were just warming up with bottles of Beer for the actual action”.
The shortage according to them extended up to December 27, prompting some regular customers to ride around town in a bid to discover new joints in wait for the new year celebration.
The young man concluded that “I for start dey book for new year now before the women finish again”.

VoiceAfricaonline.com checks have revealed that more men are now patronising commercial sex workers chiefly because of the increasing demands by young ladies.
According to them, ladies of today are becoming too much of a burden, a situation which id making dating a tedious task to handle, hence the shift to patronising commercial sex workers to ease the burden on their pockets.
“Now the moment you express admiration for a lady norr expect a question like ‘Please can you do me a favour’ the next day”.
They say it is quiet economical to spend about 100 to have pleasure which comes with no afterwards demands thereby pushing men to assume fatherly roles unduly.
