Driving Development in Krachi West

Since becoming Member of Parliament, Hon. Ntoso has initiated numerous projects aimed at improving the living conditions of her constituents.

Education

Education remains one of her strongest priorities. She has constructed classroom blocks and provided educational infrastructure in several communities to improve teaching and learning.

One such intervention is the construction of a kindergarten block at Dadekro to enhance early childhood education for children in remote communities.

She has also supported students financially, paid school fees for many young people and facilitated admission opportunities for others into nursing and teacher training institutions.

Health and Social Welfare

Recognizing the importance of healthcare access, the MP has supported health facilities and provided critical equipment to improve healthcare delivery.

Among her major interventions was the donation of emergency speedboats to assist with medical emergencies and maritime security along the Volta Lake, ensuring faster transportation of patients from remote island communities to hospitals.

She has also supported community health initiatives including health screening programs and the establishment of health posts.

Access to clean drinking water has also been a major focus of her work.

Hon. Ntoso has facilitated the drilling of several boreholes in communities suffering from water shortages, bringing relief to residents who previously travelled long distances to fetch water.

Currently, Hon. Ntoso is undertaking what many traditional leaders describe as a landmark project in the constituency—the construction of one of the largest community durbar grounds in Krachi West.

The facility, which is expected to accommodate over 2,000 people, will serve as a central venue for traditional gatherings, cultural celebrations and major community events involving chiefs and queen mothers.

The project is expected to strengthen cultural heritage and provide a befitting space for traditional leadership engagements.
