I Am Your Rapist Father-Ghanaian Legislator Confesses

A member of the Ghanaian parliament representing the people of the Sege Constituency in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana is claiming the paternity of a young journalist whose mother he confessed to have raped.

The first term legislator, Daniel Keshi Bessey, made the shocking revelation to the journalist, Joseph Ocansey, in a telephone conversation over an opinion piece the journalist shared on an information about the MP. Rumours among the Sege constituency executive and the entire party base has it that the MP has diverted fifteen slots of employment into the security services allotted to the constituency to his church members at Community 25, in the Ningo-Prampram District, a sister district.

The MP according to information took to social media to insult some executive members after the constituency chairman and a couple others allegedly demanded accountability of the slots in question. The journalist after chancing on the Information decided to write an editorial piece to reflect the concerns of the constituency members soliciting answers.

This angered the legislator who claimed the piece constituted assassination of his persona and in a conference call with two of his constituency executive members went haywire after listening to the explanation by the journalist.

“The man you call father is not your father. I impregnated your mother after raping her but she decided to give the pregnancy to your so called father. I’m your true father, you can enquire from your mother” the MP asked the journalist to be nood enough to write anout tjis revelation.

Mr. Bessey, repeatedly hurled insults on the young man and his parents while the latter kept quiet until the youth organiser drew his attention for going overboard. This will not suffice as he continued with the unprintable words to the po8nt of satisfaction.

The dishonorable act of someone perceived as honourable including threats on the life of the journalist was subsequently reported to the Ada Divisional Headquarters of the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Journalists Association, GJA for the necessary action.

VoiceAfricaonline.com sources indicate that having sensed danger as a result of his awkward conduct, the legislator has ran to the parents of the journalist after initially calling his victim to apologise, realising the implications of his action.

The source also gathered that the MP confirmed being given some slots but was not clear on how many and how they were utilised.

Meanwhile, the Sege Constituency Communications Officer, Freeman Narh Ejeoji, when contacted confirmed the vulgar words the MP authored and attributed his outburst to a comment by the journalist in the course the conversation that he has a lot about the MP to write on of pushed.
