The Paramount Chief of Fiaga, Togbi Joachim Acolatse V, led a delegation of chiefs, queen mothers, and traditional leaders from the Anlo Traditional Area to extend an invitation to the Managing Director of TDC Ghana Ltd., Mr. Courage K. M. Nunekpeku, to attend this year’s Hogbetsotso Festival.

The visit to TDC’s headquarters came after the festival, originally scheduled for the previous week, was postponed in the wake of a recent plane crash tragedy.

During the courtesy call, the traditional leaders commended Mr. Nunekpeku for his leadership and the innovative policies driving TDC’s growth. They pledged their full support for his vision, which they noted aligns with the President’s national development agenda, and reaffirmed their role in fostering peace and development in the region.

In his response, Mr. Nunekpeku expressed gratitude for the gesture and confirmed his participation in the festival. He called on the chiefs to champion unity and peace as essential foundations for sustainable development, recalling his childhood in Anlo as a period of communal harmony.

The meeting underscored the commitment of TDC to strengthen partnerships with traditional authorities as a means of promoting community development and socio-economic progress.
