Agotor, a community in the Shai Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region, is set to be transformed into a modern industrial hub.
According to the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Shai Osudoku, Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe, the community, once considered deprived and facing numerous challenges, is poised to become one of the biggest and most vibrant cities in the region.
He explained that the area’s vast tracts of undeveloped land have attracted several investors who are establishing major projects. “Some of the investors have already begun constructing solar farms and a water system capable of producing over 30 million gallons of water,” he disclosed.
Hon. Dordoe further revealed that President John Dramani Mahama is expected to visit the district in the coming days to cut sod for the commencement of several developmental projects in Agotor.
