Hanypay Ghana Ltd has been named a Strategic Partner for the upcoming AfriCanada Expo 2026, a major international platform aimed at strengthening trade and investment ties between Africa and Canada.
The Expo, scheduled for June 10 to 12, 2026, in Edmonton, is expected to attract policymakers, investors, trade institutions, and private sector leaders from across both regions.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing cross-border commerce, positioning Hanypay Ghana as a key player in delivering secure, compliant, and scalable digital financial infrastructure for businesses operating between Africa and the diaspora.
At the core of the collaboration is Hanypay’s integrated fintech ecosystem, which combines digital payment solutions with marketplace platforms to simplify global trade. The system is designed to give African exporters, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and diaspora entrepreneurs improved access to international markets, while ensuring fast, secure, and transparent transactions.
Company officials say the partnership reflects a long-term vision to build sustainable trade bridges between Africa and North America by leveraging financial technology to eliminate traditional barriers to entry.
Operating within Ghana’s regulatory sandbox framework, Hanypay continues to prioritize compliance, transparency, and innovation—strengthening confidence in its cross-border financial services. Its platforms support peer-to-peer, business-to-business, and merchant transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
As part of its role at the Expo, Hanypay will facilitate digital payment channels, onboard merchants onto its marketplace platform, and enable seamless transaction flows between African and Canadian businesses.
The AfriCanada Expo 2026 will also serve as a high-level platform for business-to-business (B2B) and government-to-government (G2G) engagements aimed at accelerating trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
In addition to its payment infrastructure, the company is promoting its digital marketplace, Hanymarket, which allows African businesses to showcase and sell their products globally while ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
As global trade increasingly shifts toward digital ecosystems, Hanypay Ghana’s participation positions it at the forefront of Africa’s fintech transformation—connecting local businesses to international opportunities and driving inclusive economic growth.
